About Kara
Kara is an accomplished Aesthetician with over 12 years of experience as an exceptional skincare provider. She attended Euro Institute in Seattle and emphasizes a holistic approach to skincare. She specializes in Microblading/Nano Brows, Lip Blushing, Facials, HydraFacials, Dermaplaning, Waxing, Tinting, Massage and Lymphatic Drainage.

Kara is a Mom of three boys and wife to an incredible musician. She and her family moved from Seattle to Nashville in 2013 where she loves to hike Radnor Lake Park, walk through Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and play drums!
What is up with the Blackbird?
Tragedy struck my family April 27th, 2021. My son, Alec, passed away one week before his 24th birthday. The agony of losing a child is like no other. Painting was therapy for me. Birds were especially significant after Alec passed. My husband even recorded his own version of Blackbird by the Beetles in memory of Alec. It was absolutely beautiful. I started painting this blackbird with a little heart (full of love) on rocks for friends and family to remind them of Alec. It brought me a little piece of happiness. Finding harmony, peace and balance in your life, mind and body is so important. It just made sense. I woke up one morning with the vision of the name, logo and spa and knew it was something I had to do. I was so excited! It just seemed right. A dream becoming a reality. My oldest son, Mason (such a talented artist), designed my Blackbird logo for me. I have so much gratitude for my family, my friends, my clients and this new meaningful chapter of my life.
